Those who want more of a challenge with the plants that they are taking care of need to consider owning a Bonsai. This is a type of method that is used to develop distinct types of trees.

    One of the roughest things about developing a Bonsai is finding the right way to shape it. The shape of the tree will greatly depend on what tree you are wanting to grow and what you are able to do. There are certain ordinary ways in which you may shape them and knowing them will help you to pick out the proper one.

Cascade

    This is one of the most tough ones that is utilized on trees that only have one tree branch that is superior over any the others. This branch must be even with the brim of the planting pot and can be either subtle or rather drastic.

Formal Upright

    This is a common shape that is most commonly utilized and is also believed to be the easiest one to use when you are new to this. It makes the tree appear virtually ancient and can be utilized on trees that have both tall or short trunks. The shape is straight with a top that stands tall all over the trunk and roots.

Informal Upright

    This is just like the formal upright - but it can twist towards the trunk. The very top of the tree is quite tall and very straight over the base of the trunk. This is somewhat more difficult to do - but is very unique.
